THE LION and THE MOUSE
one day deep in a jungle there live a mighty lion, he is feared by many other creatures in the jungle. he use half his day to hunting, and the other half to sleep.
but one day there was a little mouse got curious want to see how the lion's den looked like. so he set out to the cave where the lion rested. but poor for little mouse because the room was dark, when he walked he didn’t know that he was walked through the lion.
Then, when the mouse already inside in the cave, he recent know if the lion while sleeping. Because that, quickly the little mouse tried to creep out as fast as he could. But as he tried to cross the lion, his little tail grazed against the left paw of the lion and the lord of the jungle woke up with a start.
The lion grabbed the mouse and, holding him in his large claws, roared in anger. 'How dare you wake me up! Don't you know that I am King of the Beasts? Anyone who disturbs my rest deserves to die! I shall kill you and eat you!'
"Pardon, O King, please forgive me. I did not mean to wake you, I was only trying to leave this cave which I had entered out of curiosity. Kindly let me go this time, I shall never forget your nobility: if destiny gives me a chance I will assist you in whichever way I can, on one of your bad days."
The lion looked at the tiny mouse and laughed. 'You save my life? its a absurd idea!' he said scornfully. 'But you have made me laugh, and put me into a good mood again, so I shall let you go.' And the lion opened his claws and let the mouse go free.
'Oh thank you, your majesty,' squeaked the mouse, and scurried away as fast as he could.
A few days later the lion was caught in a hunter's snare. he Struggle as he might, he couldn't break free and became even more entangled in the net of ropes. He let out a roar of anger that shook the forest. Every animal heard it, including the tiny mouse.
"The lord of the jungle is in trouble." thought the mouse. "It is my chance to help him now". Thinking so, the mouse ran as fast as he could to the place where the sounds coming from. Soon he found the lion trapped in the hunter's snare.
"Don't move, Your Majesty, I'll cut your ropes and you will soon be free" squeaked the mouse. Without wasting a time, he began nibbling through the ropes with his sharp little teeth. after that, quickly the lion freed.
"I did’t believe that even you could help me. But I was wrong" said the lion humbly. And the two creatures became the best friends from that day.
No matter how weak and small a creature is, he may be of help if time comes.
